Built in the 16th century by Humayun and
completed by Sher Shah Suri, it stands on the
ruins of Indraprastha, said to be the capital
city of the Pandavas. The monument, like the dance,
is simultaneously ancient and contemporary- a
paradox that resolves in the timeless. |
