Festival 2006
Qutub Festival, in 2006 witnessed the participation
of some of India's most accomplished performers.
The exhilarating musical performances coupled
with the romantic 12th century historical setting
adds to the enthralling experience - it is one
of the best introductions to modern Indian tradition.
The festival opened
with the renowned father- son sitar duo Pandit
Debu Chaudhuri & Prateek Chaudhuri. This
was followed by the pioneers of Indian Rock
bands, Euphoria. The second day of the festival
commenced with a traditional Qawwali recital
by Nizami Brothers. The grand finale of the
festival was a concert by Shankar, Ehsaan &
Loy. The festival was conceived and designed
by Seher. |
